About the event
We are looking forward to our upcoming solo exhibit starting this Thursday, "Celebrating the Life and Work of Artist Don Sawyer".
Although you are probably familiar with Don's larger-than-life personality and vibrant textured artwork, you may be surprised to also learn about his highly accomplished life beyond his art career.

Don Sawyer Bio
February 29th, 1948- July 19th, 2024
Don Sawyer was born in Monterey, California, and grew up in Dothan, Alabama. In 1969, he joined the Marines, serving in Vietnam. He was awarded the Bronze Star with Combat V, the Vietnam Cross Gallantry, A Meritorious Combat Promotion, and three Purple Hearts.
